Timeless Truth - Facial Sheet Masks

I forget how I start these..

So, I very kindly got sent a face mask from Timeless Truth and I got the Charcoal Detox Brightening Mask! 

I put it on almost straight away, I was so excited! I chose the mask I got and I picked the Charcoal Detox Brightening Mask it because I have oily/acne prone skin which can get very dehydrated and this mask has a deep cleansing effect and claims to brighten, smooth and hydrate your skin. However, this mask is great for all skin types!

The instructions for how to use it were so easy to follow and I also found out that if you remove the mask from the sachet carefully then you will have excess left in the sachet which you can apply somewhere else on your body or you can just pop it in the fridge to use again on your face! (If you do this, make sure to do it within a few days though)

Before you put the face mask on, you can put it in the fridge so it will be extra cool and refreshing or you can put the sachet in some warm water to make it extra comforting and pampering. I didn't do either of these but I found that the mask itself was quite cool so even if you don't put it in the fridge, it will still be refreshing to your skin. 

Since I got a mask from the Fusion range, I had to make sure to put the darker side of the mask on my face. (it's very easy to tell which side it is) This was because it was freeze dried and already soaked in serum so when it came in contact with the warmth of my skin, the serum was slowly released so the amount of active ingredient is actually double! 

This is what the mask looks like straight out of the sachet and it has a plastic film over one side. 

When applying the mask I found that since it was so big, but had such a small nose section, it turned out to be quite an awkward shape. I find most facial sheet masks can be like this but I just thought this one was extra big. It was also soaked in so much product that it was hard to contain it so that it didn't drip everywhere but I just massaged the mask onto my skin while I was waiting. I did find that it slide about my face whenever I moved so I would recommend lying down while you have it on. Also, when the mask had been on for around 10 minutes, I could actually feel it working and my skin felt so nourished. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes and when I removed it, I massaged the excess serum onto my face and then washed it all off with a cold cloth. 

My skin feels so clean, smooth, hydrated and refreshed, it's amazing! I don't remember a time when my skin felt so good. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be buying some more soon to try out the other ranges! Their website is http://www.thebeautymask.co.uk/ :)
